Hours & exceptions
Ongoing drop-off. Hours were not captured from a current official page in our Oct 30, 2026 check — check the official City of Glendale page for hours before travelling rather than relying on a listed time.
What is accepted
E-waste: TVs, computers, printers, radios, tablets, cell phones, cables, and batteries (except car batteries).
Not accepted
Household hazardous waste — paint, chemicals, oils and similar — goes to the Glendale Environmental Management Center (EMC) instead. Car batteries are not accepted here. Solar panels are not accepted at county HHW events or permanent centers.
Transport limit
The LA County HHW programme's transport limit is 15 gallons or 125 lbs per trip (LA County DPW programme guidance). Pack items upright, keep them in their original containers where possible, and never mix chemicals. Acceptance and limits vary by centre — confirm before you go.
Before you go
Wipe personal data first: wipe a laptop, wipe a phone, handle old hard drives.
