City of Burbank permanent drop-off

Burbank Recycle Center — Drop Zone

A permanent drop-off run by the City of Burbank Public Works for e-waste and selected universal waste.

Area

Burbank. We do not publish a street address here because it was not verified for this guide — get the exact address from the official listing linked below.

Hours & exceptions

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. E-waste drop-off is closed on weekends and city holidays. Burbank residents only — bring proof of address. Small Burbank businesses: call ahead before bringing material.

What is accepted

E-waste (computers, laptops, TVs, monitors) and selected universal waste: batteries, fluorescent bulbs, antifreeze, e-bikes and hoverboards, wires, and ink cartridges.

Not accepted

This is not a full HHW center: no paint, no chemicals, no sharps, and no motor oil or filters (oil/filter acceptance ended December 31, 2025). The city directs those items to the City of Los Angeles S.A.F.E. Centers. Solar panels are not accepted at county HHW events or permanent centers.

Transport limit

The LA County HHW programme's transport limit is 15 gallons or 125 lbs per trip (LA County DPW programme guidance). Pack items upright, keep them in their original containers where possible, and never mix chemicals. Acceptance and limits vary by centre — confirm before you go.

Before you go

Wipe personal data first: wipe a laptop, wipe a phone, handle old hard drives.
